Introduction

Introduction	The EPU-1 is a fit, form and function replacement for the 2C14974 Engine Preservation Kit for the CF6-80C2 engine with an HMU fuel control from Honeywell. Two versions are available, EPU Rev-1 or "EPU-1".

	A second version (EPU-2) was contained in a Pelican Case. The electronic PC Board, internal wiring and cable sets are the same for all versions of the EPU. All versions are designed for use as a universal engine preservation unit capable of powering Fuel Shut Off Valve Solenoids and Fuel Metering Valve Torque Motors while continuously indicating the state of the Pressurizing Valve switches to facilitate engine preservation procedures.
	The 3rd and current version is a larger case and adds many features. The Cat-O'9-Tails cable set fits into the space at the front of the case.
